CHIROPRACTIC assistant

Jenna Hilton

Jenna was born and raised locally. The Truckee/Tahoe region holds a very special place in her heart.  She’s always had a love for the outdoors and enjoys the healthy lifestyle it promotes. She currently lives in Tahoe City with her husband Ed, children Evan and Nora, and goldendoodle Hobbes. After pursuing an education and career in education and later non-profit development, Jenna’s interest shifted to wellness-based care. Personal health challenges and expecting her son in 2006 led her to chiropractic care with Dr. Cathy which fueled her quest for healing and balance. She immediately saw positive changes in her all areas of her life and subsequently two healthy pregancies and deliveries. Both of her children have had the benefit of chiropractic care since the birth.

When the opportunity arose in 2009, Jenna was thrilled to begin working as a Chiropractic Assistant for Dr. Cathy. Working alongside practice members and Dr. Cathy has been pivotal to her own journey to wellness and a continual platform for learning about true health.

In her free time, Jenna loves spending time with her family and as much time outdoors as possible. She also enjoys volunteering with her church, and several local non-profit youth organizations. Jenna loves being inspired everyday by practice members’ testimonials and commitment to their health and is devoted to helping people of all ages live to their full potential.

CHIROPRACTIC ASsistant

Rachael Coxson

Rachael was lucky to be born and raised right here in Truckee, CA where she still resides with her husband Kenny. She has traveled and lived in some other awesome places, but always finds her heart longing to be surrounded by mountains, lakes, and pine tress. After high school she spent a year as a Student Naturalist at Woodleaf Outdoor School and that solidified her connection, passion, and commitment to our earth. There she also explored teaching and that led her to pursue an education in Early Childhood Education to become a preschool teacher. Over the years she has provided childcare for hundreds of families locally and out of town. She is passionate for providing each child she comes into contact with a safe space to express them self as they are,  enormous amounts of laughter and love, and most importantly a friend. She is naturally drawn to hanging with the kids, and you will likely find her running, playing, cooking, dancing and exploring the wonderful home that we have with them.

Rachael began receiving chiropractic care in 2006 and has looked forward to her visits with Dr. Cathy since day one. In 2013 she suffered an ankle injury that has lead her to three surgeries in a four year period, completely altering her regular way of life. Dr. Cathy has played a tremendous role in her overall healing and wellness journey encouraging her to own her own wellness and health goals. That journey has led her to a more wellness based lifestyle, and has opened her eyes to many different ways of healing. She is passionate about encouraging others to do the same.

In her free time you will find her adventuring outside with her husband or creating in her craft room.  She enjoys crafting of all kinds and uses it as an outlet of self expression. Rachael is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Cathy and grow with the members of the chiropractic community.
